The latest issue of NAfME’s Teaching Music magazine features an interview with Channing Paluck, doctoral student at the University of Illinois and longtime core member of the Homebrew Ukulele Union (he named the group and has only missed one sing-along).
Channing discusses some of the pedagogy and participatory concepts that have been central to the success of the Homebrew.
Congrats to Channing and his work to help make participatory music part of the music education landscape.
